If something isn't correct with the configuration for the Fortnox feature it will present you with error codes in Backoffice. In this article we list some of them and eventual solutions. If you can't get your Z Reports into Fortnox automatically, check if you're getting error codes in Backoffice.
Export Error: Verifikationsserien är inte manuell (F).
The verification series F does not have manual posting activated for the current year. Log in to Fortnox, choose the current year to the left of Settings. Go into Settings and go to the verification series. Cross Manual posting for the series F and save.
It may take a few hours for Z Reports to be exported.
Export Error: Ogiltigt konto.
You have no accounting data configured in Backoffice. We have a guide to help you with this process. Note that this new accounting information will only adjust future Z Reports because you are not allowed to edit existing Z Reports. Hence you will need to manually book the old Z Reports, but the day after you enter the accounting data, the Z reports will be automatically exported correctly.
Export Error: Konto "xxxx" är inte aktivt.
This account is not set as active in Fortnox. Log in to Fortnox and activate this account.
Export Error: Verifikationsserien "F - Kassa" finns inte
Backoffice can't find a verification series called F in your Fortnox account. Create a verification series with the letter F and Backoffice will be able to export Z Reports correctly.
Access denied
This error message usually means the user you are trying to log in with doesn't have access to Fortnox anymore. Contact Fortnox to get help with this.
Saknar rättighet för att använda verifikationer
Your license in Fortnox will require more user permissions. First check that you have Fortnox Accounting and make sure the user has the correct permissions for Accounting. For exact guidance please contact Fortnox for help.
