There is an edit mode in the cash register that allows you to add or edit products and product groups directly in the cash register without being logged into Backoffice. This is ideal to quickly change pricing or add a new product. Observe that the user you are logged in as must be an administrator to have access to this tool.
More advanced options such as accounting can only be changed in Backoffice.
You can enter this mode by pressing Edit Buttons in the bottom left.
You have successfully entered the edit mode if you see rows of gray buttons with pluses.
Press one of the pluses to begin creating a new button.
If you already have a product you just want to add a button for, press Select Product and search for it.
In this example however we will make a completely new product. Press Create Product.
Enter a Name and Price for the new product. Unit only needs to be changed in cases such as loose foodstuffs.
You must also choose a product group. The product group decides the VAT. If you need a new product group for this product, e.g. because of another VAT percentage, press Create Product Group.
Enter the name of the new product group. Choose the correct group type and VAT percentage. Press Save.
When you're done creating the button, it will show up in the cash register. Save your changes.
