We encourage you to be aware of safety to minimize the risk for theft and sabotage to your cash register. In this article you'll find a good ground for safe handling of the cash register.
- Place the register somewhere safe to minimize theft risk.
- The cash box should be difficult to reach for unauthorized persons.
- The cash box should be closed when payment is not underway and locked if the register is left unsupervised. The key should not be in the lock at all since it will be easy for unauthorized persons to steal it.
- The cash box is not a safe. It is only a storage place for cash under open hours. As little money as possible should be kept in the cash box.
- Do not store company aliases, user names, PIN-codes or passwords to the cash register and card terminal where unauthorized persons can find these.
The screen of the cash register can be locked. If you quickly press the power button the screen is turned off, it is then locked. Press the button once again and you can unlock it.
If you use this function we recommend you set a password or PIN-code.

We do not recommend face unlock or voice unlock as this will lock the device to a specific person.
