If you are experiencing a slow cash register, try the following tips. Go to the next tip if it doesn't work.
- Turn off your cash register when you've done the Z-Report and closed your store for the day. Let the cash register remain turned off during the night until the next morning.
- Are you using the cash register by wireless WiFi connection? Try turning off WiFi and connecting a network cable instead. When the cable is connected you need to enter Settings in Android, open More, then Ethernet, and make sure Ethernet is on.
- If a network cable is not possible, make sure the WiFi network is private, that your customers cannot access. If there are too many units connected to the network it may disturb the cash registers' function and perceived performance.
