Refunds can be made in two ways; by using Refund Mode or collecting an earlier receipt to refund.
Refund Mode
Start by pressing Refund Mode at the bottom right of the screen.
You have done it right when the button turns red, and the Charge button becomes Refund instead.
Press the products you want to refund. They will be shown in the tab with a negative total. Since this refund is independent of an earlier receipt, you can enter whichever products, and however many of them, that you want.
Press Refund when ready.
Specify a reason for the refund if you wish. This is saved for future reference.
If these products are in inventory, you can check whether to put the returned items back into inventory or not. Press OK when ready.
The amount to repay is shown in the top left. Finish the refund by choosing cash, card or whichever other payment method you like.
A receipt will be printed for both the cashier and the customer.
Collecting a receipt
Press the menu button in the top left (the three horizontal lines). Press History.
Choose the receipt you want to refund in the list. You can also search for a receipt number.
All details of the purchase are shown on screen. Press Refund in the top right.
The products are transferred to the tab and the refund can be made just as above.
