Accounting and bookkeeping
By entering your chart of accounts into Onslip, the cash register will provide you with accounting data at the bottom of every Z-report according to your specifications, ready to be entered into your bookkeeping software.
Things will be even easier by combining a complete chart of accounts with our integration to Fortnox. With the integration every Z-report will automatically be sent to Fortnox and you don't have to lift a finger.
Do you have a restaurant with table serving? By adding table maps to your Onslip cash register, your staff can more easily coordinate the serving in the dining hall.
If you have a kitchen printer, the table name is printed onto the kitchen ticket. This is especially useful for restaurants and cafés.

A nice logo will make your company stand out, and reflect your company's personality. The logo can be added to the receipt and the customer screen.
Log in to Backoffice at www.onslip360.com.
Click the header Configuration and choose Locations & Receipt Information.
Click Edit on the cash register's location.
At the bottom of the page, you can upload a Receipt Logo and a Customer Screen Logo.
You will be able to rescale the image when it is being uploaded.
When you are done, you will see a preview of the receipt on the right side.
If you are satisfied, click Save Changes.
Log in and out of the cash register, and you're done!
Fostering a relationship with your customers is an important part of entrepreneurship. By connecting purchases in the cash register to a customer, you can get insight into how much your customers spend and what they tend to buy.
You can easily ask your customer at the time of purchase if they want to be part of your customer records. Press Connect at the bottom of the screen and you can create them in seconds. You will need at least a name, other fields such as phone number, address etc. are not necessary.
You can also administrate customers in Backoffice at www.onslip360.com. Click the header Customers and choose Customers. Here you can download your customer records to import into other software.
Sending SMS messages to your customers can be done under the header Customers, and then SMS Campaigns. You can read more about SMS Campaigns in this article. SMS Campaigns is not included as standard, please contact us for more information.
If you handle foreign currencies in cash you will need to add a payment method for these. Card payments do not count.
The name of the payment method has already been filled in, but you can change it if you wish.
Click Create Payment Method when you are done, then log out and back in to the cash register. The new currency will be in the Other button in the payment screen.
Automatic End of Day Reports
If you prefer not to make an end of day report manually, the cash register can handle it for you.
You may need to log out and in to the cash register for the change to apply.
For the automatic end of day report to be done, the cash register needs to be turned on, and the screen needs to be on. The Onslip-app must be open, but you do not need to be logged in. It is fine to be on the login screen. When the automatic end of day report comes, the cash register will count down 60 seconds. If you are working with the cash register, you can dismiss the end of day report, or choose to do the report. If the cash register does not receive a response after 60 seconds, the report is made and printed.
By selling vouchers you receive money up front, and your customers get the chance to give value to someone they like.
The vouchers details are all printed on the purchase receipt. The receipt is de facto the customers document of value, but you can also complement it by writing the vouchers number onto one of your own gift cards for an extra personal touch.

If you don't always want to print a paper receipt we recommend you turn on digital receipts.
It's good for the environment, but also for your wallet, since you don't need to spend as much money on receipt paper.
You turn on digital receipts directly in the cash register. Enter Settings and choose Customize. Turn on Digital Receipts. That's all you need to do. The next time you make a purchase, you can choose how to handle the receipt
