If you wish to switch on beeps in your network printer from us by the manufacturer SNBC, you can do this according to the instructions below. This is useful for noisy kitchen environments to better grab staff attention when printing.
- Switch off the printer completely.
- While the printer is switched off, hold down the FEED button.
- Switch on the printer, but do not release FEED.
- The printer will output a long test page, then you can release FEED. It waits a few seconds to print the IP address information. Finally, a slip will appear that says:
Press and Release FEED to continue SELF-TEST printing
Press and Hold FEED to configure the printer - Hold FEED until the printer prints a note saying MAIN MENU.
You have choices from 1 to 7. The number is how many times you have to press FEED to select that choice, then confirm by holding down FEED one more time. - Press FEED 3 times and hold down FEED to select Configuration.
- Press FEED 9 times and hold down FEED to select Beep Settings.
- Press and hold FEED 3 times to select Enable Internal Buzzer.
- You have Mode 1 to 6 to choose from. Press FEED twice and hold down FEED to select Mode 1.
- The printer confirms the selection and demonstrates the beeper. If you want to change the beep, return to Enable Internal Buzzer on number 3 and select another one.
- To save, press FEED once and hold FEED to select Back to Last Menu.
- Press FEED twice and hold FEED to select Exit With Save.
- The printer outputs a slip to confirm that it saved the settings and asks you to restart the printer. To do this, press the power button on the front, wait a few seconds and switch it on again.
