Why choose Swish Handel at the checkout?
Using an integrated Swish solution instead of a standalone app offers several advantages in your day-to-day operations:
Faster checkout: When customers scan the QR code directly on the checkout screen, it reduces lines during the lunch rush.
More secure payments: The system automatically verifies that the transaction is correct, which helps prevent fraud.
Simpler bookkeeping: Every purchase is recorded correctly right away, which makes reconciliation smoother and reduces discrepancies at the register.
Smooth returns: The register keeps track of which payment was used, making returns much easier.
Step by step: How to proceed at the register
1. Scan items as usual
Scan the products the customer wants to buy and tap “Process Payment.”
2. Select Swish Handel as the payment method
Tap “Other” and select Swish Handel. The system will now display the total amount. Confirm by tapping “OK.”
3. Customer’s part: Scan the QR code
A QR code will now appear on the register screen. Ask the customer to open their Swish app and scan the code. The amount and recipient are pre-filled—the customer simply approves with Mobile BankID.
4. Complete the purchase
Swish Handel: The register automatically confirms when the payment is complete.
Then tap Complete to print the receipt.

Create a shortcut: You can set up Swish Handel as a shortcut to make the process even faster. Learn more about how to customize your shortcuts here.
If the QR code cannot be scanned: If the customer’s camera isn’t working, you can choose to enter the customer’s phone number manually (applies to Swish Handel). For Swish Företag, enter your Swish number and the amount manually for the customer.
