In noisy environments, such as kitchens, you may want to enable beeps on your printer to help get staff attention when printing. Here's how to do it:
Step by step:

Switch off the printer completely.

Hold down the FEED button while the printer is switched off.

Switch on the printer, but keep FEED pressed.

The printer will now print a long test print. When it starts to output, you can release the FEED button. It also prints IP address information.

You now see the message:

Hold down FEED to enter the configuration mode. A new printout with ‘MAIN MENU’ is printed.

The menu contains options 1 to 7. To select an option, press the FEED button the number of times corresponding to the selection, then hold down FEED to confirm.
Activate the beep sound:

Press FEED 3 times, then hold down FEED to select Configuration.

Press FEED 9 times, hold down FEED to select Beep Settings.

Press FEED 3 times, hold down FEED to select Enable Internal Buzzer.

You can now choose between beep modes Mode 1 to 6.

Press FEED 2 times, hold down FEED to select Mode 1 (recommended by default).

The printer will confirm the selection and play the beep.

Want to try other sounds? Go back to Enable Internal Buzzer and select another mode.

Save the setting:

Press FEED 1 time, then press and hold FEED to select Back to Last Menu.

Press FEED 2 times, hold down FEED to select Exit With Save.
The printer confirms with a receipt and asks you to restart the printer.
Switch off with the power button, wait a few seconds, and start it again.
